一名外籍男性日前因細故與台灣籍太太發生口角，先生當下被太太趕出家門，這名外籍男性雖旅居台灣多年，但長年依賴老婆生活，由老婆以英文交談，因此，無法以中文與他人溝通。

當這名外籍男性被太太趕出，且求助無門時，透過友人得知113保護專線，並撥打113求助，透過113在線上媒合英文通譯，他獲得及時轉介新竹市家庭暴力暨性侵害防治中心，由社工協助緊急安置及申請急難金渡過危機。

新竹市政府家庭暴力暨性侵害防治中心呼籲，家暴防治工作需要全民的協助，民眾如遇家庭暴力事件可撥打110、113緊急救援專線。
